Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. Not because I need a “special” day to remember why I care about the people in my life, and not because it’s the eve of half off Valentine’s Day candy sales(although that’s almost enough in itself!), but because I am hopelessly romantic and any time there’s an excuse to celebrate relationships I’m in!

In fact, a big part of why I am such a fan of portrait photography is because I love seeing people in love… couples, families, new parents, friends, and weddings. Living vicariously through my lens I get to capture that and preserve it. My job is like Valentine’s Day year round.
