Giving Back
As a small business owner I truly appreciate my clients’ support that allows me to do the work that I love to do. In 2010 I decided to use that support as a gift back to my community.
In addition to monetary donations to charitable causes I also lend my time, talent, and resources to deserving organizations and individuals. It makes me feel wonderful to be able to give this gift back to the people of Wisconsin and beyond, and you can feel good knowing that a portion of your session cost will go toward a generous cause making you part of that gift as well.
After working with the people at The River Food Pantry on Madison’s North side two years in a row to help orchestrate the Madison Help-Portrait event I’ve been inspired with another way to give back.
I’m committing 10% of my session fees to area Food Pantries in 2012.
If you know of an individual or organization that would benefit from my services please be in touch, I am always looking for new opportunities to pay it forward.
I am a proud Affiliated Photographer with the following organizations…
Help-Portrait Madison completed it’s 3rd annual event in Madison on December 10th 2011 with over 380 individuals photographed. I am proud to currently be one of the organizers for this event. With the help of The River Food Pantry Help-Portrait Madison has provided free portraits and prints for nearly 600 people in Dane County to date.
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep’s mission is to introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture. NILMDTS believes these images serve as an important step in the family’s healing process by honoring their child’s legacy.
The FILM Project (Family Images for Lasting Memories) is a new organization that provides free professional photography to families dealing with cancer. FILM is a new organization, I am proud to be one of the first FILM affiliated professional photographers in Wisconsin.
