I was born and bred in the Midwest, coming  from a large, loud, and fearless family. I grew up in the Northeastern woodlands of Wisconsin while traveling the country with my musician father and artist mother(and 6 or 7 brothers). I left the state just long enough to snag a college degree and my husband in the red deserts of New Mexico. We have a brilliant, funny, intelligent, precocious little boy who amazes us… and regularly tries to disassemble the dryer.

With a lifelong background in painting and drawing and a major of Fine Art in college I turned for portraiture into a photography career in 2006. I have had award winning artwork featured in publications, on book covers, and in galleries.

Committed to the great state of Wisconsin I make conscious choices for my family and my business that support sustainable local economy, the environment, and community. I prefer to use paperless contracts & receipts & recycled office supplies whenever possible. I love companies that practice off-setting carbon emissions and that offer high quality recycled paper press products, as well as local/small business vendors & suppliers as often as possible.
