ABOUT THE ARTIST: I was raised in a home where art was made daily; my father is a musician and my mother is a painter who provided me countless opportunities to explore visual art in every form. From the beginning I have always been fascinated by faces. As a kid I filled dozens of sketchbooks with drawings of people, and then I went to college for fine art and created more portraits in every medium from handmade paper to ink to clay. I fell even more in love with expressions, and the stories behind them; little moments that revealed the genuine character of my subjects. 

I married the love of my life and through his encouragement became a professional photographer. We've had two beautiful children whose faces I fall in love with again and again every day. They inspire me to tell stories and explore new ideas and creative outlets. 

My style of photographing people is clean and vivid and features a combination of guided posing and photojournalism which enables me to capture alluring moments that reveal the genuine spirits of my subjects while still maintaining the high-end photography standards of traditional portraiture and wedding photography.
My signature style also translates to commercial work as I strive to present my clients with high quality, highly marketable images for editorial, documentary, corporate event, and product assignments.
